Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Firefox

by ergosteur, 8 years agoA recent update seems to have caused CPU usage to go out of control with this extension enabled. I've disabled the extension, and noticed I still have Container tabs functionality, albeit without the extension toolbar button - so I question the need for this extension.
Container tabs have quickly become a must-have feature for me. I have quite a few sites where I actively use multiple accounts (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and not having to use a separate browser with a completely separate profile and set of addons is great. Even with sites that do allow simultaneous sign-in with different accounts, opening, for example, a work-related link in my work container ensures that it will use my work Google and Microsoft accounts and not accidentally leak/link any personal data.

This is less important now that FireFox offers Cookie Isolation in Privacy settings, but it's still useful as it allows me to have multiple different accounts logged in for the same website at the same time. - Rated 1 out of 5by Undefined_ID, 17 days agoeach new device integrated in Firefox Sync BROKES EVERY CONTAINER PARAMETERS I HAD!!
