posted 21 days agoThanks for the feedback. I cleaned up the code. Please upgrade to version 2.0 and let me know if you encounter any issues. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18931485, 22 days agoSomething has recently either changed with this addon or Instagram where all sorts of functions within Instagram no longer work properly, especially anything with a little popup dialog including making new posts and viewing someone's follower/following list. You can now no longer view an individual post as a popped up post superimposed over your timeline either, you have to load it into a new pageload and when you hit the back button in to your timeline your scroll position is totally reset.
I've verified disabling this plugin removes these problem behaviors, so it is definitely the plugin or something Instagram is doing to interfere with users of the plugin. In either case, something needs a fix.Developer response

At a glance, I thought it did what I needed and what it says it does. However, it actually doesn't just add the "save image as" option to Instagram, it breaks the pop-up where you can navigate between posts and forces you into single post view. Then, when you try to back out to the account again, it stays on the individual post even though the URL has changed back to the account. This makes it no easier or more convenient than having to dig through Inspect to grab the images. It needs to function on the built-in popup display.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by lisa, 3 years agoExactly what I was looking for! This seems to be the only easy way to simply copy IG images to my clipboard. I never found anything like this for chromium browsers

posted 6 years agoYou need to right click on any Instagram post image and it will show "save image as". No button will appear. Please let me know if you still have questions. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13455343, 6 years ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15260686, 7 years agoDoesn't download the original image from the source link in the original resolution. Only downloads what you see. IE: Downloaded image is much smaller than the source image extrapolated from the embedded URL.
