No more booty pics or other suggestive material shoved in my face as I browse my home feed. I don't even watch this stuff!!!!!.. on youtube.. :)
No more guessing games over whether the thumbnail is an accurate representation of the video. It rarely actually is.
No more clever title capitalization meant to grab my attention towards keywords like a toddler with something shiny in their face.
Just browse with no minimal pressure and enjoy Youtube for what it USED to be.
Honestly, I need as little 'suggestive' thumbnails in my life as possible reminding me that my browser has a 'private browsing' feature. I'm tired of the dishonest clickbait and clever tricks to make my eyes pop out of their heads. My mind was literally on overload which prompted me to even come here.
As soon as I enabled this addon, I felt the difference. I felt the sense of relief at uniformly titled videos without tailor made thumbnails. And now I don't dread exploring my recommendations.

Does not have the bullshit paywall hassle garbage that the DeArrow dev uses. For that alone, I'm donating to Pieter. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15958710, a month agoCould we have a customisable list of channels to disable it only for those within?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tone, a month agoIf you hate soyface thumbnails and Daily Mail style RANDOM capitalization of video TITLES, then this is the add-on for you! My YouTube home page makes me far less ragey since I installed this add-on. Highly recommended!

- Rated 5 out of 5by tiny dragon, 5 months agoI don't personally care for title reformatting, but the thumbnail replacement has been 100% reliable and priceless for years.
I tried DeArrow (what seems to be this extension's current biggest competitor) too, in many different settings configurations, but somehow this one is still better. - Rated 5 out of 5by Розалія, 6 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Fyreheart, a year agoWorks as advertised but I wish I could whitelist some channels.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Qe, a year agoI'm using it with YouTube Anti Translate(I cannot add url, so replace spaces with dots: addons mozilla org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-anti-translate/) and ublock and it freezes me the youtube. I tried it on different browsers. If I disable any of these 3, youtube works again - still if I disable the Anti Translate I have the best results, because if I keep this one with any other I have high CPU usage but hopefully you can find the issue.

- Rated 4 out of 5by steffanossa, a year agoMostly works as intended. Some videos are unaffected by the thumbnail change.
An option to remove emojis from video titles would be awesome - Rated 5 out of 5by sysamurai, a year ago
