I love this extension, it makes watching twitch a much better and smoother experience. There are some drawbacks but the upsides are so great. I hope the developer keeps updating it.

Edit: Now, that some channels on twitch broadcast in 2K, these streams no longer can be ad-blocked.
Message: "This broadcast is encrypted. The Alternate Player for Twitch.tv extension does not support encrypted broadcasts. Click the “Back” button to return to the previous page."
Hopefully the dev will have a look at it.

Eines der wichtigen AddOns, wenn man viel Twitch guckt.
Nicht nur ist der Player schön Ressourcenschonend, sondern blockt am zuverlässigsten die Werbung und entfernt den Müll drum herum.

Es gibt nur ein Nachteil: Der Puffer ist etwas größer als beim direkten Twitch-Player.
1-2sec Verzögerung gibts dadurch ontop.

MUST HAVE extension for twitch. The only issue currently is it doesn't work with the new resolution settings

App is 10/10, must have, I use it for 8+ years.

One of the better solutions to make Twitch viewable, the delay is not ideal but all considered this is a great extension.

FANTASTIC job of blocking ads, as someone with extreme anxiety to ads it works perfectly... BUT, it can't follow the raid, and you CANNOT simply tap a button to open OUTSIDE the extension to give credit for the raid to the streamers.
This is a must for various reasons, either make raiding to another streamer viable, or add a way to open in Twitch.

If you're having trouble with dark mode not staying in chat go to FrankerFaceZ control center search for dark then appearance>theme and enter #0E0E0E for background. It'll stop going to light mode.

the player work great and the ads are not displayed , but for some reason the chat is no longer displaying on any stream... I'm sure this will be fixed soon but currently the add-on cannot be used anymore..

Thank you for the Player. For whatever reason, i am unable to watch Twitch with the normal browser. But with this it's working flawlessly.

please make the addon remember enabled dark mode...

Funktioniert gut. Keine Werbung. Und die kurze Zeit der Umschaltung während der (unsichtbaren) Werbe-Einspielung auf 480p ist zu verkraften. Empfehlenswert.

Extension très intéressante permettant, de par son mode "Audio only", de réduire grandement le débit de connexion nécessaire pour regarder un stream. Je recommande vivement.
