ad blocker works for me. click the video on youtube and just refresh the page before the video begins. i know its an extra button to push but it skips the ad. hopefully this helps developers work around this.

Have been using it perfectly for years but just now suddenly it stops working

Currently: Adblocker for Youtube is working, if not, first do an uninstall and a re-install, along with a temp. deactivation of enhancer f. ytube, and test it. (comment from region: Germany) / Remember Ytube can attack adblockers with a geo-selective strategy - give feedback to developers if that happens!

Turns out Ublock Origin was the issue. Currently paired with Tampermonkey w/ no ads or issues on Youtube!

Works great. When/if is stops working just delete all youtube cookies and there you go !
